Hi!

Big fun around Coffee Mania this summer! Look for us at the farmers market at Dexter park Saturdays starting june 13th. We will have our mobile kiosk unit there so we can serve up some great espresso drinks as well as coffee by the pound!

We will also be in Aurora on June 12th, 13th and 14th to serve coffee at the MacKenzie Childs barn sale. This is a huge, amazing sale and we are looking forward to being there!

Last but not least, come visit us on Friday June 19th at the Cortland Relay For Life at SUNY Cortland! We will be serving coffee late into the night!

OK, sorry it's been so long since an update here, we have been really busy trying to open our new cafe. It looks like Origins by Coffee Mania will open on Monday, January 26th on the corner of Route 41 and 281 in Homer. Come check us out! Coffee Depot is proud to present our new collection of coffees from El Salvador. We hope you love these coffees as much as we do! This year we were fortunate enough to score two Cup of Excellence coffees, as well as several others that were grown by the Salaverria family, who have been growing coffee in El Salvador since 1890. We have had the great honor to spend time with the family patriarch, Jose Antonio Salaverria, cupping and learning about his farms and his families farming practices. The amount of care and hard work that went into cultivating this coffee is very obvious. Check out our "order coffee" section to see more details about these coffees. Enjoy!

New pictures are up in both of our picture sections, a few from Craigs trip to Mill Valley California in May to attend Willem Boots espresso roasting and blending class, and a few from our awesome week in Geneva at the Extreme Makeover. Fun stuff!

Wow! What an amazing week we just had! We are still unpacking from the seven crazy days we spent in Geneva at the site of the Extreme Makeover. We got to meet a bunch of really amazing people. The entire production crew who filmed this huge job for ABC was wonderful, very professional and did a great job of managing the site. The crew from Mahoney deisgn and build was first class! They had a very difficult job to do and they made it look easy! The hundreds of volunteers who donated their time and materials for this job were also great!

We found out that it takes about 6000 cups of coffee to build a house! We really enjoyed bringing our profession to people who definately appreciated it!

We need to thank Barden Homes for their kind donation of a large truck (and driver!) to pack all of our equipment up there. Also huge thanks to Bill Brothers Dairy right here in Cortland for their generous donation of milk and a cooler to store it in. Kerry foods, who supplies us with our Davinci syrup, and Oregon Chai also made a generous donation. Thanks are also in order for all of our staff who donated their time to help make this possible, you are the best!!!

We are right in the middle of a crazy week in Geneva NY at the location of ABCs "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition". Our coffee kiosk is set up in a very nice familys back yard and we are serving Coffee Mania coffee to the crew and volunteers. It's a strange combination of camping and running a coffee shop! We are watching as the Hill family gets a new home built for them in just seven days. We are pretty stoked to be there!

Coffee Mania has volunteered our services to be the premier coffee provider for the Central New York Edition of ABCs "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition"! So what that means is starting Monday August 18th until August 25th we will have our coffee kiosk on set of their build somewhere in Central New york, 24 hours a day! We don't yet know where the exact location is but we will let you all know as soon as we do. We are very excited to be a small part of helping a very deserving local family get a mega home makeover!!! If you would like more information about this project, please visit "www.mahoneygives.com"
